Kerato conjunctivitis is a condition that leads to inflammation of cornea or conjunctiva. Kerato conjunctivitis is also called as Dry eye disease as the eye is not able to produce enough tears. Kala-azar is a slow progressing indigenous disease caused by a protozoan parasite of the genus Leishmania. In India Leishmania donovani is the only parasite that causes this disease.
