Dr Shroff is working in one the leading eye care institutes Shroff Eye Center since 1978. He has been the pioneer of Intralocular lens transplantation surgery in India. He was one among the firsts to start Phacoemulsification in 1992. He has performed thousands of procedures like PRK, LASEK, LASIK, Epi-LASIK and Intralase (Bladeless Lasik). He was awarded Padma Bhushan for his work in Ophthalmology and service to the community. He also received the Bharat Jyoti Award along with the “Certificate of Excellence-2003” by India-International Friendship Society.
