Home Made Face Masks for a Beautiful You!
Turmeric Face Masks
Turmeric Face Mask can help a great deal to reduce acne and any resulting scars. It has anti-inflammatory qualities which target your pores and calm the skin. All these help to clear up your face from acne breakouts.
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon baking powder
1-2 teaspoons rose water
Mix the turmeric powder with the baking powder.
Slowly add the rose water and mix until you get a smooth paste.
Apply this pack on your face and leave it on for five minutes.
Wet your fingertips and massage your face in gentle circular motions to remove dead skin. Keep stroking for a few minutes.
Rinse with lukewarm water first and then with cold water.
Aloe Vera Face Masks
Aloe Vera not only provides rejuvenation but with its antiseptic properties helps to combat acne.An aloe vera gel based face mask will optimally hydrate your skin too.Use it twice a week to repair itchy and flaky skin.
1 tablespoon aloe vera gel
2 tablespoons milk cream
A pinch of turmeric
Mix the above ingredients into a paste and apply on the face and neck area. Leave it on for about half an hour and then wash it off with warm water.
Cucumber has soothing properties and is great to treat puffy eyes. Grate the cucumber and mix it with one tablespoon of aloe gel. Apply the mixture on the face and neck area. Leave it on for 15 minutes and then wash off with warm water.
Orange Face Masks
Orange Face masks make the skin regain its freshness and youthfulness.
1 teaspoon sandalwood powder
Water or rose water
Keep the Orange Peels in a Tray and place them in sunlight for a day or two till they are completely dried. Grind them to make a fine powder. To two tablespoons of this powder, add the sandalwood powder and enough water to make a paste. Apply this on the face and rinse after 20 to 30 minutes. The Unused powder can be kept in an airtight container for future usage
Banana Face Masks
Banana is known to be an antioxidant and reduce inflammation.
Mash up a medium-sized ripe banana into a smooth paste and mix it with two teaspoons of Honey then gently apply it to your face and neck. Let it set for 10 to 20 minutes, then rinse it off with cold water.
Egg Face Masks.
Egg white has astringent properties which help in tightening the skin by shrinking the pores and serves as a great Face Mask
Beat the egg to make it frothy and add 5-6 drops of almond oil to it. Mix it well and then apply in on your face for instant shine and glow. Rinse with lukewarm water and then with cold water.

Blend or mash up the soft ripe papaya into a lump-free puree. Add a teaspoon of honey and lemon juice and mix well. Apply the face mask to your clean face and let it dry for 15 minutes. When the time is up, gently use warm water to loosen the face mask
Multani Mitti: Home Made Face Masks
Take about two teaspoons of Multani Mitti and add one tablespoon of tomato juice, a pinch of turmeric powder and One Teaspoon sandalwood powder. Add water to it and beat it into a smooth paste. Apply it on the face and neck evenly and then wash it off after 10 to 15 minutes with lukewarm water.
Besan Face Maks
Gram Flour popularly known as Besan has a lot of skin benefits.It is helpful in removing Tan, Lightens Skin, Fights Pimples and scars.
The Face pack is easy to make.
2 tablespoons besan (gram flour)
1 tablespoon milk cream
1 teaspoon lemon juice
Mix the ingredients to form a paste. You can add some water to get proper consistency, if required.Apply this paste on the face and neck, and leave it on for 15 to 20 minutes and then rinse with cold water.
Avocado is full of Omega-3 fatty acids, Vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. Avacado not only moisturises the skin but gives it a healthy and supple feel as well. You could go in for an organic avocado for best results in making your skin look thoroughly nourished.
1 ripe avocado
1 tablespoon honey
Peel the avocado and remove the seed. Mash the pulp properly so that no lumps remain. Add the honey to this pulp and mix well and then apply it all over the face and stay put for 10 to 15 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water.
