Some Wonderful ways of Removing a Sun Tan Naturally
Instead of spending a huge amount on those expensive cosmetics which also contain numerous harmful chemicals, use these natural homemade packs and ingredients to get rid of skin Tan.
1. Lemon juice
Rub a sliced lemon over the tanned area and leave it for a few minutes. Then wash it. You can do it once or twice in a day. Acids in a lemon act as lightening agents. The results will be seen in a time span of 2-4 months.
2. Cucumber, Rosewater and Lemon juice
Mix the ingredients and apply it on the tanned region. Rinse it after 10-12 minutes. The lemon juice will remove the tan while the cucumber juice and rose water will smoothen the burnt skin. You can apply this pack on your face every day.
3. Lemon juice and Potato
Decoction the juice of the potato and mix it with freshly extort the lemon juice. Apply this mixture on your face like a face pack. Leave it on for half an hour and Wash it off with cold water.
4. Milk and Strawberry
Crush 4-5 strawberries and mix them with 2 tablespoons of milk. Apply the pack on the tanned areas and leave it for 30 minutes. You can use the paste twice or thrice a week. Strawberries help to lighten and moisturise your skin. They also remove the dead cells.
Take out tomato’s pulp and apply it on your face like a mask. After some time remove it with a tissue, cotton or water. Tomato has many minerals which result in a sparkling complexion even after the skin has been damaged by sun or pollutants.
6. Yoghurt or Curd
Mix curd with wheat flour. It can be applied on the face, hands or feet. Once it dries, rinse it. Regular use of this mixture results in supple skin.
7. Yoghurt and Orange Juice
Combine orange juice and yoghurt and apply this mixture on the areas which are tanned. Allow this fine paste to sit on your skin for 30 minutes before you clear the decks with water.
Mix turmeric in water. Apply it on your face. Rinse after some time. This helps to fight skin tan.You can also mix milk with a pinch of turmeric powder in a glass bowl and apply this solution on your face like you would apply any other face pack and After 10-15 mins clean it with cold water.
9. Gram Flour and Turmeric
Take two tablespoons of gram flour, milk and one tablespoon of rose water and blend well. Add a pinch of turmeric powder to it and mix thoroughly to form a smooth consistency. Apply to tanned areas and leave it for about 15-20 minutes before taking it off. Wash it with lukewarm water.
Aloe vera is an elixir for skin tan. You can apply the aloe vera pulp on the skin to get rid of the Tan.
11. Multani Mitti (Fuller’s Earth)
Mix Multani Mitti with chilled rose water. Apply the pack on your face. Keep it on for 15 minutes and then rinse it off. It cools the tanned skin.
12. Vicks Vapour Rub
It is the strongest method of getting rid of suntan. Take a small amount of Vicks vapour rub and apply it on the affected area to get relief.
13. Potato Juice
Potato is said to be a bleaching agent. Juice a potato and apply it to your skin. You can use potato slices on your eyes and face. Once it dries after 10-12 minutes wash it off.
14. Papaya and Honey
Honey is a natural moisturiser. Take ripe papaya. Add 1 teaspoon of honey and mix until a smooth paste is formed. Apply it all over the tanned skin. Wash after 20-30 minutes.
15.Milk Cream and Strawberries
Mash 6 strawberries in 2 tablespoons of milk cream. Apply it generously on tanned areas and give it half an hour before you wash it off with cold water.
